I attended Kauthar Tai’s ‘An Introduction to Islam’ course on Monday 4/10/04, at the Leeds Grand Mosque and would like to recommend it to you.

As a Muslim, I found the course very interesting mainly because in a short period of time it managed to cover core aspects of the religion, whilst also discussing other areas of interest such as illness, and the role of women in Islam.

Before this course I had thought most people had a reasonable understanding of Islam, but interacting openly with other participants at the course has made me realise that many people’s understanding is poor. I have no doubt that this course improved their understanding of Islam, and will enable them to take this into their workplace to benefit Muslims who access their services.
