This course provides basic understanding of Islam and the Muslim Culture.  For professionals who work with Muslim Communities from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, this course will provide an excellent framework for improving services for Muslim communities as part of their Race Equality Action Plan.  The participants will learn about Muslim beliefs, practices and customs and a visit to a local Mosque is arranged to enhance learning and observing the afternoon prayer - live
