An Introduction to Islam and the Muslim Culture Course
Having read your literature and the references from other participants in this course I was impressed and keen to attend one of your sessions.  After spending a day with you and other people representing the public and voluntary sectors learning about what being a Muslim in today’s world means I feel much more confident that I am better prepared to communicate with this important audience.

It was quite an honour to visit the Masjid Tawhid mosque in Leytonstone and especially to sit at the back and watch one of the five prayer sessions.  Having read much about the debate about the lives of Muslim women in western society, it was also refreshing to hear first hand how women happily manage their beliefs, live and work in Britain’s society.

I am sure other marketing and communications professionals within the Learning and Skills Councils will also derive great benefit from this one-day session.  I am preparing a short guide for local colleagues to ensure that they also feel better informed but this will never be as good as witnessing the course first hand.

Thank you for this well organised, interesting and inspiring course, and especially the lovely Indian lunch sourced for this occasion.  It all made for a very special day.
